Everyone is able to view the forums on this site, but only Desktop Author customers are able to create new posts or reply to posts. The “Advanced DesktopCommunicator” forum is restricted to DesktopCommunicator customers only.

When you first login to the site, you will be prompted to enter a forum UserName and a new password. This will allow you to change your My Desktop Author password to a different password. The forum name will uniquely identify you on forums while protecting you anonymity. Choose a name such as a nickname, but you don’t need to use your full name or email address. You can change your forum UserName and password at any time in the future by logging in and clicking “Change Password”.

  1. Click a Forum Category heading (eg Community, Support, Developer’s Forums or Other Forums) to see that details of the forums in that Category.
  2. Click the forum name (eg Introductions, Chit Chat etc) to see the topics in that forum.
  3. Click a Topic heading to read the posts for that topic.
  4. To post a reply or a new topic, you must be logged in.

  6. To post a new topic, click the “Post New Topic” button, enter a subject and message and click the “Post New Topic” button.
